1. Introduction

Alphamin Resources (AFM), listed in Toronto and Johannesburg, operates a single asset: the Bisie tin complex in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The operation includes the long-running Mpama North mine and the newer Mpama South deposit.

Bisie’s defining feature is grade. Ore averages nearly 4% tin; four to five times richer than most industrial peers, many of which run below 1%. This grade advantage drives structurally lower costs and stronger margins, positioning Bisie among the most profitable tin mines in the world.

Quarterly output sits around 5,000 tonnes, or ~20,000 tonnes annually, equal to roughly 4–5% of global supply. That concentration from a single site gives AFM meaningful weight in a small, tightly balanced market.
